Stevedoring and Warehousing Business
  1. Consistently driving the stevedoring and warehousing business to run by civilian organizations to encourage them involving business investment.
  2. Professionalizing wharf usage and introducing efficient operation machine investment to civilian firms.
  3. Encouraging civilian organizations to invest  the stevedoring and warehousing facilities in assigned areas.
Operation Business
  1. The Hualien Port is an important sea  port in
    the eastern district of Taiwan, and its facilities are quite complete. The authority has transformed  the development of the eastern district mainly into tourism and leisure industries in recent years. Therefore, the authority  plans to cooperate with the Hualien County Government to achieve multi-functional development, such as arrangement of passenger transport wharf and tourist service center, updating information concerning software/hardware construction, improving port waterfront utilities,  and promoting to attract cruises and yachts
  2. The warehouse section of the Hualien Port occupies 6,660 square meters. The scheme is to incorporate civilian organizations into transforming this section into a logistic business area. The investors will be authorized to select proper locations and plottage for the usage of logistic, inventory center, or other product storage business.
